Highly recommend walking around Valladoliad in the evening. The park square had a lot of fun events. There was an amazing native Mayan performance which we thoroughly enjoyed. There’s lots of stores and restaurants around the town square which give very European vibes. This is a cool place to visit on your way back from Chichenitza
