Tulum ruins are set against the beautiful backdrop of the ocean. Every spot is a great photo op and the beauty is breathtaking. We didn’t have beach access on the day we went coz the weather was rough but otherwise the beach also looked beautiful. It’s a great visit. There is a lot of walking so be careful. Also they don’t let you take plastic or glass inside so we couldn’t take our waters or drinks. So take a metal bottle. Definitely check out the Yax Muul cenotes as well, they are a few minutes away. Tulum+Yax Muul would be a whole day trip. Also don’t fall for the scammer tour operators that will wave you down when you enter Tulum and just get the package from an authorized govt tour guide.
