Tarka at cedar park is a decent fusion take on Indian food, that's definitely worth trying once... Overall a place worth a shot.

Tarka at cedar park is a decent fusion take on Indian food, that's definitely worth trying once. They take a modular approach to making dishes. You could pick your base gravy, choose your proteins/veggies, and make a choice of rice or roti to go along with it. The chosen dish is made to the order in 5 mins and served hot. The Naans (likely Frozen to oven) and rice are good. The plain roti is below par. Dal and coconut gravy based dishes are neat. Any tomato based gravy is going to taste like factory sourced; but that's true with most restaurants in Austin. Overall a place worth a shot.
